The Science Behind the Superior Duration: Peptide Exchange Technology

What truly sets DAXXIFY® apart is its groundbreaking formulation, which results in remarkably extended effects compared to conventional neuromodulators like BOTOX®, Dysport®, and Xeomin®.

Active Ingredient: Like its predecessors, the active ingredient in DAXXIFY® is a highly purified botulinum toxin type A protein. This neurotoxin works by temporarily blocking the nerve signals that cause the underlying facial muscles (specifically the corrugator and/or procerus muscles) to contract, thereby smoothing the appearance of wrinkles.
The Unique Stabilizer: Traditional neurotoxins use human or animal-based proteins (such as Human Serum Albumin) as stabilizers. DAXXIFY® is the first and only neurotoxin to use a proprietary, synthetic, highly positively charged Peptide Exchange Technology™ (RTP004) in place of these proteins.
Enhanced Binding: This unique peptide helps stabilize the botulinum toxin and enhances its binding to the nerve receptors in the muscle. This stronger and more stable connection is the core reason for its longer-lasting results.

The DAXXIFY® Treatment Experience

Consultation: We will assess your facial anatomy and treatment goals to determine if DAXXIFY® is the right option for you.
Procedure: The treatment involves a quick, minimally invasive series of small, targeted injections into the muscles that cause frown lines. The recommended dose for glabellar lines is 40 Units, divided into five injections.
Downtime: There is virtually no downtime. You can typically return to your normal daily activities immediately after your session.
Results: You may begin to see results as early as the next day, with full smoothing effects typically visible within two weeks.

Important Safety Information

WARNING: DISTANT SPREAD OF TOXIN EFFECT

The effects of DAXXIFY® and all botulinum toxin products may spread from the area of injection to produce symptoms consistent with botulinum toxin effects. These symptoms have been reported hours to weeks after injection and may include: loss of strength and overall muscle weakness, double vision, blurred vision and drooping eyelids, hoarseness or change or loss of voice, trouble saying words clearly, loss of bladder control, and trouble breathing or swallowing.

Swallowing and breathing difficulties can be life-threatening, and there have been reports of death.

DAXXIFY® is not approved for the treatment of spasticity or any conditions other than cervical dystonia and glabellar lines. The potency Units of DAXXIFY® are not interchangeable with other preparations of other botulinum toxin products.
